In the developing countries OneWorld Health serves, basic healthcare is never guaranteed – government healthcare systems are overwhelmed and underfunded; there aren’t enough doctors, supplies and medicine; and too many patients who can’t afford treatment. All of this adds up to a powerful recipe for prolonging poverty.
OneWorld Health has worked side by side with communities in need for 14 years to better understand the challenges of access and quality in healthcare across the globe—and help ensure that a person’s birth country does not determine the ability to access basic healthcare. They build and operate inpatient and
outpatient care facilities, providing high-quality, affordable medical care to impoverished communities.
From inception, each project has been carefully planned to ensure that every dollar invested will create a long-term impact in the community. To date, OneWorld Health has provided care for more than 900,000 people in need across Central America and East Africa. We are committed to working with OneWorld Health to help the people of Uganda access healthcare that life-changing and lifesaving. Therefore, each Transit Capital Partners transaction supports bringing quality, affordable healthcare to people who desperately need it in Uganda.

With over 25 years of expertise in real estate acquisitions and development, she has built a distinguished career in sales, marketing, and strategic growth, shaping innovative solutions for the aviation industry.
A graduate of UNC-Wilmington with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Public Relations, Mary Shannon blends her deep industry knowledge with a keen understanding of market dynamics, branding, and client relations. Her leadership at Synergy Hangar has been instrumental in pioneering custom hangar design, development, renovation, and public-private partnerships, ensuring cutting-edge infrastructure solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the aviation sector.
Mary Shannon’s ability to navigate complex real estate transactions and infrastructure projects has positioned Synergy Hangar as a leader in the field, driving innovative, sustainable, and high-performance developments. David Burke
David Burke serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Synergy Hangar and Synergy Capital and Development Group, LLC, bringing extensive expertise in real estate development, acquisitions, and aviation finance. A graduate of the University of Southern California, David began his career in real estate investments before expanding into the aviation sector, where he has played a pivotal role in structuring complex financial strategies.
Since 2015, David has also served as the CEO of Transit Capital Partners, a firm specializing in aircraft and infrastructure finance. His deep understanding of capital structuring, project finance, and public-private partnerships has been instrumental in advancing Synergy’s mission to deliver financially sustainable and innovative aviation infrastructure solutions.
At Synergy, David focuses on optimizing capital structures and developing financing models that help public-sector partners increase revenue, attract investment, and create local job opportunities. His ability to bridge the gap between municipal needs and private capital has strengthened Synergy Hangar’s reputation as a leader in aviation development and infrastructure financing.
